We do not provide CD and access code. I’d recommend introducing concept and then demonstrating it with a published study from within the past 5 years.
It fleshed out entirely obvious concepts too often and elaborated for what seemed like endless amounts of time unnecessarily while barely explaining some of the slightly more complex material.

All textbook arrives within business days. Not a Used Book, Book Language: Concepts and Applications by Molles places great emphasis on helping ecoloty grasp the main concepts of ecology while keeping the presentation more applied than theoretical. I’ve read many papers in journals but my last “big picture” read was 30 years ago. Cannot do much about the material because you do not have a choice when it comes to required reading but it is far from the worst material I have been maunel to read.

Perhaps I’m overly picky and I admit I found more faults after a while because of my general irritation level, but text books aren’t cheap and editing would have helped a lot.

The book begins with the natural history of the planet, considers portions of the whole in the middle chapters, and ends with another perspective of the entire planet in the concluding chapter.

Overall though a great textbook, even though in the free market place there are potentially better texts on Ecology. Great professional textbook selling experience and expedite shipping service. So far, I like it for a science book. The inaccuracies were less irritating than the language.
